Well, were coming close to the end of competition season now and so far the Old Bawn gymnasts have done extremely well.  On 20th April,  7 of our men’s squad took part in the Appenzeller Shield competition.  This is a South Dublin regional competition.  The boys performed fantastically and all of them came home with well earned medals.

Oisin Delaney – Level 4 u12 – Gold
Ciaran Fitzgerald – Level 4 u12 – Bronze
Jamie Greene – Level 3 u12 – Bronze
Alex Nugent – Level 2 u12 – Gold
Niall Moran – Level 2 u10 – Silver

Sean Keane also placed 5th in the competition for the Shield which is a combination of scores across all levels and age groups.  Brilliant achievemnt!
