Summer Training Camps:
On July 13th a group of 18 gymnasts and 7 coaches travelled to Largs in Scotland for our annual training camp.  As always the girls gained valuable training experience with all of them achieving some new skills and improving on their existing ones.  The coaches also benefitted greatly from this experience getting to interact with other coaches from UK clubs to share ideas and coaching methods.  It was a nice bonus that we got to also spend the week with the Commonwealth Team from the Turks and Caicos Islands who were preparing for the games at the Largs training centre.

RochelleOn 22nd August our Elite group travelled to Galway with coaches Evelyn and Rachel to take part in the Gymnastics Ireland camp.  The visiting coach was Rochelle Douglas from Europa Gymnastics, UK.  Rochelle coaches one of the top British junior gymnasts Catherine Lyons and she was on hand throughout the camp to offer her coaching expertise and knowledge along with plenty of new suggestions for training to take home with us.  The girls choreography sessions were led by guest choreographer Abigail Leonard who has a wealth of experience and works with a number of clubs in the UK.

Now we are ready to begin our new season which starts on 6th September.  We cant wait to see everyone back and ready to keep improving and enjoying the gym!!
