Bronze for Ireland at Celtic Cup 2014

Following a tough trial process, two of Old Bawn’s top gymnasts, Katie O’Hara and Shauna Kelly were selected to represent the Republic of Ireland for this years Celtic Cup International Competition.  Katie formed part of the Junior team (under 15) and Shauna part of the Minor team (under 13).

The competition took place in Perth, Scotland on  25th and 26th April.  Both girls had a fantastic competition with Katie achieving personal best scores on bars, vault and All Around, and Shauna achieving personal best scores on floor and vault.

Along with the fantastic personal achievements, the minor team also claimed the bronze medal for team Rep. of Ireland.  We are very proud of both of the girls!!!
