Waiting list still closed :-(

closedHi everyone – we have been getting a lot of enquiries regarding new members joining the club.

Unfortunately our waiting list is still closed at the moment in order to clear the backlog of children waiting for places.  We do promise we will give plenty of advance notification on both our website and facebook page when we plan to re-open the list for new names.  Sorry for any disappointment!!

We hope you understand that since we are not in a position to add any extra classes to our schedule at this time, places becoming available currently depends on other members leaving the club.  This is why progress on the list seems slow.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Happy New Year

We would like to wish all our members and friends a happy and healthy 2015.

Term 2 will begin this evening (Monday 5th January).  Gymnasts should attend training at their normal times with recreational classes resuming this coming Saturday 10th January.

Fees will be due this week for Term 2.

We are looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces back and ready to train hard in the new year!

Gymnastics Ireland Events Calendar

GILogoSome of you may have noticed that the 2015 annual events calendar has now been put up on the Gymnastics Ireland website.  This year there will be some very significant changes to the way the competition year plays out and as such it will involve an adjustment period for everyone.  The main BIG change is that from now on there will be NO REGIONAL qualifying competitions held for the levels structure.  Instead, clubs will enter gymnasts directly into national competitions which will be held in Limerick University.  At this competition they will award both National and Regional placings.  The teams competitions for levels 2-6 will no longer take place.  While the calendar has been released, there are still a number of supporting documents that are yet to be circulated to clubs, which will give us some more information.  As such, we are not fully sure just yet of the finer details.  For more information directly from the Gymnastics Ireland website, please click here.
